Privacy Policy

LeafLine helps plant collectors keep a visual diary on their own device. The app is designed so personal plant photos, notes, custom plants, and timeline entries stay local unless you choose to export or share them.
Information Stored On Your Device
- Plant diary entries, custom plant details, notes, and imported or captured photos are stored locally in the app sandbox.
- LeafLine does not upload your personal plant photos, notes, or local collection data to the catalog service.
- You can remove local diary data from the in-app Clear Local Data control.
- You can remove local plant records at any time with Clear Local Data in the Profile tab.
Premium Subscriptions
LeafLine does not require or provide an account. Premium purchases and restores are processed by the Apple App Store, and StoreKit entitlement status is cached only on this device to unlock Premium features.
Feedback And Support
If you submit feedback in the app, LeafLine sends the email address and message you provide to the support service so the team can review it and follow up if needed. Feedback is stored as an issue in the configured GitHub repository.
Product Analytics
If product analytics are enabled for a production build, LeafLine sends product interaction events such as app open, tab change, search usage, export actions, subscription actions, and Premium gates. These events do not include plant photos, note text, or image payloads. Analytics may be sent to PostHog or a first-party analytics endpoint configured by the app owner.
Catalog Service
The remote catalog service provides read-only plant metadata and catalog images. It does not receive user-created diary entries or personal plant media.
Permissions
- Camera access is used to capture plant growth photos.
- Photo library access is used to import plant photos and save exports you request.
- Microphone access is not used for plant photo capture.
